Rural Scotland is a unique canvas where buildings often sit abstractly in their landscape. My architectural eye is always drawn to how we shape our surroundings, by scale and proportion, the vernaculars use of materials and assemblies of separate buildings often complimented by soft landscaping to create microclimates whilst embracing the broad sweep of the outdoors. I love the great outdoors and as a Mountainbike leader I find it a great excuse to combine my passions and to bike and draw.
