The Scottish Highlands and Islands have attracted countless numbers of visitors because of the magnificence of their wild scenery. Buildings in contrast tend to be more insignificant, dwarfed as they sit in the raw majesty of their surroundings. I love the outdoors and over recent years I have enjoyed exploring these wilder places by bike and as a Mountainbike Leader. My exploration is therefore ongoing and the joy which it brings me will be the subject of many many more drawings in the months and years to come.
